On a blogging break!

Since the move to Toronto is getting closer, I'm going on a blogging break. It might take a while for me to settle down and start blogging again.

I hope to come back and play catch up with you, dear blog friends, in about 2-4 weeks. Until then, Byebye! Take care!

Thanks guys! It is very nice of you to send me wishes and keep thinking of me on how I'm doing. :)

We are in Toronto, still looking for a nice apartment to settle down.. Tons of things to do, as a newcomer to this country.

Karthik, Thanks for your request. Right now, I'm very happy with the few like minded friends I have got, through blogging. Once it's mentioned in Sulekha, I don't know what kind of people will be reading this and commenting on the posts. I'm writing this blog as a means of self-expression and I wouldn't want to stop that. So, please, no, do not include this blog in your article. It was very nice of you to ask and I respect you for that. Hope you understand my dilemma.

Isn't it 2 weeks yet Kay? I do miss your posts. Keep us posted please.

Thanks Priya! :) Thanks everybody for thinking about me and sending warm wishes my way. You are all a sweet bunch! Things are going a bit better now and hopefully I should be ready to blog again in two weeks.

Btw, Raniandraja, What does 'Kakalaki' mean? I missed that the first time I read it.

Paati, I found your link. I'm glad you liked the idiyappam! Homemade Idiyappam is my all time favourite.

Oooooh! I've been tagged thrice for one meme by Priya, Karthi and Menutoday and even before I could write a post on it, there's another meme, I've been tagged by Garam masala. I should be able to write more in a few more days.

Hi Kay,

I've been an avid but silent reader of your blog. I came here thro Indira's Mahanandhi. Especially love your southern style recipes. Iam a chennaite myself and also recently made the move from US to toronto. Its been only a week and I was wondering whether you found any grocery stores catering to us southies. A few of them I visited seemed more Pakistani and East/West Indian. Any suggestions cos ur cooking style is same as mine. Email me at sangii77@gmail.com, I would appreciate that very much. Again great blog. Good Luck with your pregnancy.

Kay, I got the recipe for a no-oil lemon pickle from my sister. If you're still interested, come on over and take a peek. It's very easy to put together.

I hope you're doing well and have settled down in your new home!
